That’s one of the things I do best; monitor market trends looking for opportunities and timing.   In 2012, I decided to take my own advice.  What better time to take advantage of all-time low interest rates and great buying opportunities?

You might ask, ‘but didn’t you lose a lot on your current home sale?’ It is true that I didn’t choose to sell at the top of the market in 2005, but that was a choice many of us made.  Why?  The timing wasn’t right for a variety of reasons.

So what is the advantage of selling and buying now? I call it the perfect storm.  I may not have realized the profit of 2005, but I didn’t turn around and buy at the top of the market at a price that predictably would have taken me more than 10 years to recover.  Running the numbers today shows that you realize less on the sale side but so far more on the buy side, with attractive purchase prices and very low cost of carrying the new loan.  Of all the great community and home choices available, it didn’t take me long to make my decision, where I would buy my next home.

Selling homes in Terravita since its grand opening, I knew the floor-plans, facilities, community offerings, activities and Country Club that my clients had enjoyed over the years, all of which made this the perfect place for me to call home, as your neighbor.
